AI Content Acceptable Use Policy
Hotel Lobby rules for AI photos and videos, prohibited content, safety reports, content review, enforcement and appeals.
Last updated: 2026-10-01
Scope and permitted use
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) forms part of our Terms of Service. It applies to photos, instructions, audio, videos and other material you submit, generate, store or share through Hotel Lobby, including attempts to generate prohibited content.
Use the service only for consensual creative performances involving adults. You must be at least 18 and have permission from every person depicted to use their likeness in an AI-generated performance. Permission to possess a photo does not by itself give permission to animate its subject. Identify shared results as AI-generated; do not present them as recordings of an actual event or endorsement.
Prohibited content and conduct
Each of the following categories is prohibited, whether the material depicts real people or is entirely synthetic:
- Pornography / NSFW: Sexual acts, explicit nudity, fetish content, sexual services, sexual exploitation or non-consensual intimate imagery. Adult consent does not make this content acceptable here.
- Violence / gore: Graphic injuries, mutilation, torture, depictions that glorify violence, credible threats, or instructions that facilitate violence, terrorism or weapons construction.
- Hate speech: Content attacking, dehumanizing, threatening or encouraging discrimination against people based on protected characteristics, including race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.
- Child-unsafe content / CSAM: Any child sexual abuse material, sexualization, grooming, exploitation or endangerment of minors, including synthetic depictions and people presented as minors. Do not submit photos of children for this adult-only performance tool.
- Deepfake / impersonation: Unauthorized manipulation of a real person's likeness or voice; impersonating a person, public figure, brand or organization; fabricated statements, endorsements, evidence or events intended to mislead. Non-consensual sexual deepfakes are strictly prohibited. Consent does not permit fraud or deceptive presentation.
- Copyright / trademark infringement: Photos, music, lyrics, logos or other material you lack the rights to use, including false claims of sponsorship or affiliation. The service does not grant rights to an artist's song, voice or identity.
Also prohibited are harassment, doxxing, fraud, unlawful content, evading restrictions through another account, and attempts to bypass safety controls or a provider's rejection. Do not use AI outputs to deceive others about their origin.
How content is reviewed
Hotel Lobby currently offers local photo selection; video generation and purchases remain unavailable. Photos selected for the local preview stay in your browser and are not reviewed by us. The following describes the controls implemented for the generation workflow and the process for handling reports; it is not a claim that every image or video is automatically screened.
- Submission controls: The interface requires confirmation of photo permissions and agreement to this policy. The generation endpoint checks sign-in, photo count, file format and size. It uses a fixed performance instruction rather than accepting an unrestricted user prompt. These technical checks do not establish consent or determine whether an image is safe.
- Provider responses: The configured generation integration uses Kie. A rejected request is treated as a failure; it is not sent to another provider to bypass the rejection. We have not deployed a separate image/video moderation classifier or comprehensive automated input/output screening.
- Human review: Reports sent to our support email or account support tickets are reviewed by the site operator. Review may involve the reported material under our control, task records, context and evidence of authorization. Access to personal material is limited to what is necessary to investigate and handle the report, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We prioritize reports involving child safety, threats, sexual exploitation and non-consensual impersonation. We may restrict affected material while investigating. We do not promise continuous monitoring, a 24-hour moderation team or a fixed resolution time. Content that passes a technical check or a provider request still has to comply with this policy.
Report content or misuse
Anyone can email support@hotelobby.org, without an account. Use the subject Content safety report. Signed-in users can also open a support ticket.
Include the relevant page URL or task ID, the category of concern, a short explanation, the approximate date and a contact address for follow-up. For impersonation, explain whose rights are affected and your relationship to that person. Do not attach illegal imagery, intimate photos, identity documents, passwords or payment details. In particular, do not download or redistribute suspected CSAM to report it. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service as well.
We assess the report, review available evidence, take an appropriate action and communicate the outcome when we can do so without compromising another person's privacy or an investigation. Reporter details are handled under our Privacy Policy and are not publicly displayed. Deliberately false reports and harassment through the reporting channel are prohibited.
Enforcement and credits
Depending on severity, evidence and repeated conduct, we may issue a warning, refuse a request, remove content from storage we control, restrict service access, suspend service to an account during investigation, or terminate an account for serious or repeated violations. Serious child-safety or exploitation concerns receive priority action, including preserving necessary evidence and reporting to competent authorities where required by law. We cannot remove copies independently shared on other services.
We may revoke promotional or fraudulently obtained credits associated with confirmed abuse. Purchased credits, refunds and subscription cancellation are handled under the Terms of Service and applicable consumer rights; a report alone does not automatically erase a paid balance. Restrictions must not be circumvented with new accounts.
Appeals and policy updates
To appeal, email support@hotelobby.org with Content policy appeal, the decision or task reference, and any relevant explanation or evidence. You may appeal without signing in. We reconsider the evidence and correct an erroneous decision where appropriate. The operator currently handles appeals; we do not claim a separate independent appeals team.
The date above identifies this policy's revision. We will publish changes here and communicate material changes through the service or available account contact channels. Questions about content safety can be sent to the same support address.
